You always find very interesting articles. This one is another one of those.

This is a problem with many products. Cork isn't the same anymore. That's one of the reasons some beers and wines are gravitating to screw tops. The seal preserves the product. It's just not as cool as cork.

I believe that over time there will be some small changes in the bottle as seals begin to fail and air gets into the equation. This is a slow change, but a change none the less.
