It's not my fault you are not familiar with IR, which is surprising after the HTFBS experience. IR firms are outfits that have large databases of email addresses and stuff them with slick looking feature length write-ups.

Now, why I said that I might have missed something is that I don't know whether they send any emails out (although the zero buying strongly suggest they didn't).

But the link you provided really doesn't land one on any IR effort, let alone a paid one. It was one alinea editorial plus part of a DSNY earnings pr with a link to the whole earnings pr. That really isn't IR, and the disclaimer doesn't say that everything they do on their website is paid for by the companies.

Nobody in their right mind would pay for a one alinea editorial and their own PR. And why would they, it has generated zero sales.
