Some Prayer Reminders for Christmas

We are approaching that time of year when we can be overcome with all the busyness of the Christmas season. This year, let’s make a decision to keep Jesus, the reason for the season, as our main focus!

Prayer can be a great compass to keep our attention on Him!

Here are some prayer reminders to help keep you focused:

• Intercede for all of your unsaved family and friends, praying that they make room for Jesus in their lives.

• Ask God for the courage and desire to share His love this holiday season with a friend, coworker, or family member.

• Pray you would be about your Father’s business and not caught up in the world’s view of Christmas instead of the Word’s view of Christmas.

• Ask Him for His direction, strength, encouragement, and delight as you daily open His Word.

• Pray that the busyness of the season does not rob you of the true enjoyment of celebrating the Savior’s birth.

In your time of prayer, remember to thank God for His provision, truth, and most importantly, for the greatest gift, His Son Jesus Christ.
