How can a pH of 7.8 be promoted as being good for one line of drinks and completely disregarded in another that are acidic? Incidentally, acidic drinks don't raise pH they LOWER it. I suggest you do some research yourself. You could start by investigating what happens when mildly alkaline water (it is not highly alkaline as is falsely being claimed) mixes with strongly acidic conditions in the stomach.

Obviously citrus/lemon drinks are very acidic outside of the body, but they don't raise your internal pH. I suggest you do more research on the subject.
