It was a long shot for Ryan, but at least he tried...I agree with you Pelosi was very good for the Dem party for many years and os a prodigious fundraiser, but it's time for the party to bring in new blood and not continue to rely on legacy candidate - one would think the Dems learned a lesson on Nov 8.
If the party does not bring in new blood, their bench will be totally empty in 2020.
