I agree, and it is unfortunate such a skilled group will be displaced.

I've always admired tool and die makers. Very sharp people, well paid
and rightfully so.

The investment casting folks are also in the cross-hairs along with Metal injection molding, and who knows how many other processes.

I hope something is done to help them transition. Very valuable human assets who also pay taxes.
