Theory: George Alvarez Sponsored The Pump. Then Dumped.
Knowing that investors are expecting some kind of news in early 2017, he pumped the stock up and he/friends/family have blown out whatever remaining holdings they can. Instead of positive news for investors next year, news will be announced that only benefits himself and his inner circle, as VELA stock goes nowhere.
Again, this is only a (conspiracy) theory, but given past errors/failures, shareholders should put nothing past VelaTel management.
Far fetched? Recall when the stock ran towards two dollars years and years ago on hype/pumps (and George Alvarez did admit to his family selling shares) before it ended up cratering over time. Granted, this is on a smaller scale, but the same logic applies.
