Intel built much better, more efficient, and more integrated products and was able to capture a big chunk of the low-end market that it had pretty much ceded to AMD for a while.

AMD is building a much better, more efficient, and more integrated product to capture a chunk of the high-end market that it had pretty much ceded to Intel for a long while. Edit, and why not there is no quid pro quo -but then again, maybe it was AMD who broke the deal when they hired Keller.
