Your statement doesn't make much sense:
To them the shareholders are a burden... they are selling enough product to collect their paychecks and that's all they care about...
In my opinion the next time they speak, it will be them making the case for a reverse split.... and even though he needs a majority vote to do so, investors would have no choice but to allow them to.
So, in your opinion, they sell enough product to collect their paychecks but when they speak, they will announce a reverse split!
I would take that as a complement...seems to me that if they speak, and announce a reverse split, something more must be happening than just collecting a paycheck.
