EDIG is always just a PR away from greatness! I am fascinated at when a supposed watershed event like seeing the money from the Google settlement in the financials ends up a total dud it is simply replaced by another. It is called moving the goal posts. Now investors speculate that there must be some special licensing deal with google or future royalties of something! With the Samsung Apple and other settlements in the past investors always held out for something that was not disclosed and got nothing.

IN my opinion what EDIG got out of the Google settlement was the IPR was dropped. IPRs are not initiated unless there is a likelihood of invalidation and in fact they invalidate up to 88% of patent claims they review. All this can be looked up. IPRs also cost 500k to 1 million for a company to initiate and pursue to the end. Google did not care about the money and I think they let EDIG live to harass start up competitors in the use of sensors over the internet to inform decisions. EDIG got the ability to keep trolling out of the Google settlement and I expect they will still get the type of licensing settlements they have in the past from their victims. From the financials these settlements seem to be in the 50-200k range. Just enough to keep the company hobbling along.
