A name and ticker change, or simply a R/S are all corporate action items approved by FINRA after they've gone through their review process. I don't think it matters much from FINRA's timeline perspective whether its a name and ticker change, or a R/S, or all three actions.

When you're dealing with a private corporation that changes its name from ABCD, Inc. to WXYZ, Inc. that's a filing at the State level where the corporation is registered.

Since TGGI has applied for a name, ticker, R/S (all FINRA approved actions), the timeline is according to FINRA's review process. The estimate from the company in a PR is simply that -- an estimate (not a guaranteed date).

I remember when TOFS changed ticker to BCAP a few years ago. That took between 6-7 weeks to go through. Again that was on FINRA's timeline even though the Company gave an estimate of the effective date.
