What they said about cash is true...but with a HUGE caveat. Doody said all year that they had enough cash til Q3 2017. They then did a ridiculously discounted secondary. Doody's response: "We don't want to have less than 1 year's worth of cash on hand." All that the secondary did was push the timeline out approximately 2 quarters. With mgmt's rationale, they will very likely be back in the markets by the Spring. Full disclosure: I've owned Idera stock since 2012. I believed in the science. When Milano et al came on board, I thought Idera might have the right mgmt. My view has evolved over the past few months. I still believe that the science has potential, but I have become, for a variety of reasons, increasingly skeptical of mgmt to the point of having lost confidence in them. And in all that time, share price has done less than nothing. As of today, I've liquidated my holdings. What do they say about the definition of insanity?
