The average ticket in most businesses is higher with cashless versus cash.

You can't skim cashless transactions because there is an audit trail.

Does every car wash operator really count all those quarters as sales revenue? Do bartenders and waitstaff book all their tips as income. Of course not, which is tax evasion.

The IRS, on the other hand, prefers cashless transactions because there is an audit trail. More tax revenue (in theory).
