Ultra-Short-Term Indicators: The climactic readings that began post-election identified an initiation impulse that saw a few days of rising prices after. As climactic readings continued, they started to decline and ten popped up one final time yesterday which was a great example of a buying exhaustion. There are no climactic readings to analyze today. The VIX has stagnated above the center of the Bollinger Bands and hasn't yet tested the top. This could suggest some more upside to push readings higher, but I suspect this is indicative of a buying exhaustion in the very short term as readings have exhausted before rising to the upper band.
