I used to frown on the concept of AI, but when considering the accelerated dumbing-down of our society (evidenced by the recent election), I'm not altogether sure we wouldn't be better off in having cold calculating machines do our thinking for us...we (collectively) don't seem to be capable of rational thought anymore, which is a damn shame ;(
