edit: a trick I learned from my favorite vet, 80 at the time, if you try it again take your dog out of your house first and bring the other dog in before bringing yours back in. Something about your dog won't be as possessive about her home.

I had a very difficult male weim with people and dogs and this guy worked a miracle in an exam room doing that maneuver that just floored me.
