The world's changed in ten years: LLPP is uniquely poised.

LLPP says its green plastic cost less than the current conventional process requiring oil and toxic processing chemicals and major EPA approvals to open or expand such a plant. Why not, the feedstock is practically free and no oil is needed.

News flash
Did you know incandescent lightbulbs will be totally banned in California starting in six weeks?

That growing, possessing and smoking marijuana today is entirely legal in Calif?

That for several years, one time use grocery plastic bags are banned AND highly TAXED in many Calif jurisdictions, and regulators are phasing them out entirely? What happens when they write a law requiring 50% recycled plastic in beverage containers regardless of cost? Or that beverage containers not 50% green have a ten-cent tax each (like they have with plastic grocery bags).

Regulators are already mandating the use of recycled materials in common products such as beverage contains. Not only because the LLPP process is clean tech vs. the horribly toxic petrochemical process and chemicals currently used, but because of landfills, health hazards, ocean pollution and because left to their own devices you are right, companies will poison the environment and consumers if it saves a penny per share in earnings over a year.

Quiet confidence. The fact that LLPP issues news about once a quarter, has never done any promotion, does not have an IR firm, should speak volumes to its confidence.

20 bagger? Seen this play out a few times over the years in young companies that go on to be 20-baggers in 3 to 5 years. The stock is being quietly accumulated, probably by friends and family. A tightly held shareholder base means when this stock makes its next upleg, it will hit an air pocket with no sellers for a runaway gap that will never be filled.

Just because the company is quiet doesn't mean it isn't making major, transformative progress. It means it does not need to raise any capital, it means no insiders or management have any interest in selling, and it would rather announce major milestones and deals done than try to hype the market with LOIs and a lot of noise about a new website, or adding another module, or added someone to an advisory board.

It also says a lot about the shareholder base, which is holding tight and does not need noise for reassurance because the shareholder base today realizes the value of this tech. The website has a presentation which talks more about the regulatory environment and why the industry is desperate for a green solution.

Same as AQMS, LLPP can produce its plastic at a lower cost than the current conventional process and much lower than any other recycling technologies that scale. How can it not succeed? I agree Coca cola alone would switch all its plastic container business to 100% green if it could do so at the same cost. If it can save 10 or 20% in plastic costs? It is more likely to buy the company outright or license the tech.
