Copper Weekly Chart

The copper chart below shows that the recent price action has finally broken the back of the bearish downchannel in Cu. That’s not to say it won’t go down and retest the channel line…I expect it will. But, I think it’s a good sign that that bear run of Cu for the past 6 years has come to an end. I’ll feel better when it cracks resistance at $3/lb, but I don’t expect that to happen for a while yet.
