Consider that the threat of antibiotic resistance grows ever larger,
killing innocent folks in hospitals left and right.
We have an effective cure for that
and the primary FDA objection seems to be that a related drug
caused liver damage. Our own trials didn't show that.
It's easy to posit that the FDA is responding to outside pressure against us,
but the pressing need should overcome that resistance in time.
Livers recover pretty well generally. Folks with serious untreatable bacterial infections die all too often.
This is really cheap now, and while it may get cheaper, the upside is juicy!
