I tried an experiment on a known crappy website that had a 'join this site' nag pop every 7 seconds that covers almost the whole page. Adblock blocked it only for that page session but not after a advance to next page. ublock blocked it and allowed access to the website for that complete session and remembered it as well. ublock totally disabled that nag frame. Adblock did not.
But I think adblock is still a very good program. and does still work well for sites like Ihub.
