I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 'good' promo anymore. Back in the day there use to be some great ones, especially the $1M+ ones, I use to really enjoy trying to find those before they ran.

The good promos basically died off when marijuana stocks came on the scene though. You no longer see the big $$$ stock promotions, now they are just a few thousand dollars and are very, very short lived. Plus the SEC cracked down on the bigger promoters and many of them went to jail.

Marijuana/cannabis companies are essentially the new promo's. All promo's really ever did was get a bunch of daytraders, penny flippers, etc to focus there resources in one stock. That's what pot stocks do now, realistically from a fundamental standpoint 90% or more of them are junk and will probably never amount to anything....but that's where the liquidity is.
