In designing the next generation of mobile communications technology for 5G, developers are expected to include multiple radio technologies in order to address the broad range of use cases and their diverging requirements. During this webinar, InterDigital’s Jim Miller is joined by panelists from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Intel Corporation to examine standardization competitors like 3GPP and IEEE and their latest radio technology projects (New Radio [NR] and 802.11 technology respectively) among others in attempts to synthesize ideas around what the future of 5G might look like.
