just another slumbery day here in 'penceland'. nothing much to see on the drive through the port. 26 stocks left and nothing to get frothed over. i guess that's the way it goes when you're left with nothing but the illiquids. then again, they generally don't need any hand shuffling during the day, so that's a plus. i have other things to do and my reaction time is usually less than efficient. i'm not doing this for a living, its all about having standing orders and patience.
also boring as hell ::sigh::
but while i tire of the nothingness, in an attempt to unlimber the writer inside me, i'm planning on letting my flick fingers loose on the letter stroker and penning something daily on this board. that's what i'm doing now. having a subject to ponder is worth more than a few spilled vowels and consanants, so i'm setting a marker here and breaking down the folio', primarily a slew of holdovers from previous campaigns for future reference.
here's the layout broken into simplified categories:
from the present there are 9 'shell/rm' plays on which i've thrown a smidge more than two hundred smackers -- anywhere from 100-350. these are all new from within the last 3-4 months and all have 10-20 bag potentials. WCSY is a case in point. caught it on the way up at .025 and was a seller at .20 and .25. bought small, sold small, and kept a few. i've taken coin on top of covering. its pulled bck and gone to sleep but it might yet play higher. for the moment, its worth the hold. among the other eight, EXAI is currently making a move.
the rest of my holdings are all past plays.
there are 7 'inert' ones that have 100M shares or less outstanding, are non-diluting 15-12 filers, and barely trade. again, around 200 dollars invested per. i'm waiting for them to either come out of hibernation, or close down. as an example, ALKN woke for me this year. and though i'm all out, it seems to be in motion again.
there are also 3 'lotto' plays, .0001/.0002 POS's that have less then 2B O/S and are presently non-dilutive and non-active. for them i don't need to be half asleep at any wheel because the car is not moving, but hope springs eternal, even if summer has begun to fall into winter.
there are 2 'longs' with reasonable -- or 'un', depending on whcih side you want tto look at it from -- money in them, one of them, MKRS may pan out soon. its a snail mover, but what's an eternity without a little bit of titilation? i'm expecting good things in the future. but then i'm an optimistic pessimistic, so what do i know?
there are 2 'leftovers' which were successfully played, but then i unsuccessfully held some. fortunately they're small, and i'll wait without pulling hair. might even adjust them later.
and lastly there are 2 'replays', both of which fall under the third time is NOT a charm rule. one might turnout to be a debacle. but at least they are semi-active. i expect them to either play or bust soon.
now if you've done your math, that leaves one more. but its a serious 'loser' -- one i'll have to either fix up or accept as loss fodder -- so rather than grouse, i'll leave it unmentioned. that is, until i mention it.
so..... before i go into the cave to continue my sojourn into dreamland, the summary here is that i'm down 20 plus percent, but holding nearly the same loss in realized cash -- fwiw, other than the occasional drips and drabs, i'm not spending it -- so all in all, i'm nearly even up. its time to see what the future brings.
