One county in AZ had no insurance providers, some counties have only one choice and the premiums are up around 100% with higher deductables.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona will sell marketplace plans in all counties except Maricopa, (Phoenix area) hiking rates 51 percent. Centene Corp. will sell "Ambetter" plans in Maricopa, with 74.5 percent rate hike.

In 2013, eight insurers competed to sign up clients.

Now - A 40-year-old couple with two children would pay $1,422 per month for a family plan with a high deductable. This is not affordable.
