Yeah I bought my share of coins on ebay.uk, ebay.de, and ebay.fr... I usually had to contact the seller to ensure they could ship to the USA. International shipping rates to the US are often double the postage rates going the other way. Makes you realize how subsidized the United States Postal Service is. Anyway, I recently ran across a good deal on old French silver coins, let's see if I can find it again:
