His friends ditched him at the club and he set out on a search, police said.

Milford Man Robbed After Leaving New Haven Strip Club

NEW HAVEN, CT—A 33-year-old Milford man was robbed after his friends ditched him at Score's Strip Club, police said.


The man's friends left him at the club Oct. 12 and he went out searching, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

"His search landed him in the public-housing complex at Grand Avenue and Hamilton Street, where he was promptly mugged," Hartman said.

He was punched several times by a group of men and robbed of his iPhone 5 and $100. He sustained no serious injuries.

"He told the officers he didn’t want them to investigate any further, that he didn’t want to make a complaint and just wanted to go home to Milford," Hartman said.
