I'd change that to read "the mainstream media has long been controlled by the Deep State, who control both the Right and the Left".


The Deep State wants war and that's what we get. The only difference being with the Left it's war using proxies under the phony banner of 'humanitarian intervention', rather than direct US invasions. But war just the same.

On the economic side, the Deep State wants austerity, and despite trying to sound like a socialist, Obama actually ripped over $1 trillion in funding out of Medicare in the past 8 years. And of course everyone knows that Obamacare is socialism, even as it forces you to pay premiums to a private company. Yes, that's socialism all right.

And who made sure the Wall St zombie banks got bailed out in 2008? That evil socialist Obama, the 'enemy of Wall St and Big Business'. And who put thru NAFTA, deregulated Wall St, repealed Glass Steagall and legalized Derivatives? That arch enemy of Big Business, Bill Clinton. Yep, the 'Left' is definitely socialist, no doubt about it.
