TDA is buying Scott...its been no buy off and on with TDA as well...Etrade has better fills than either IMO, best for sub $1,,rarely says no. Scott sucks for pennies, fees get high real quick, bad fills, frequent blocks. TD platforms are nice, but you don't really have to have an account to use the platforms...TD and E have the same fee structure for the most part. If you call and ask them to lower it they'll generally do something if your'e active, lower it to $7, give you some free trades, etc...
