Twitter Inc. (TWTR) shares jumped in the extended session Tuesday following a rumor that Walt Disney Co. (DIS) has taken a renewed interest in acquiring the microblogging site. Twitter shares rose 4.3% to $18 after hours, while Disney shares shed 0.5% to $92.25 . Late Tuesday, the blog Betaville (https://www.betaville.co.uk/news/rare-alert-walt-disney-co-said-to-have-rekindled-interest-in-buying-twitter-price-agreed/)reported that Disney and Twitter have already agreed on a price. Earlier in the month, after interest in acquiring the site from multiple bidders such as Apple Inc. (AAPL), Salesforce.com Inc. (CRM), Alphabet Inc.'s (GOOGL)(GOOGL) Google , and Disney faded.
