My thoughts were we would see some drop in the gold price when the deflationary crash FIRST happens, but then we would see a quick reversal higher in gold as a safe-haven/fear play. We know the Banksters are going to inject as much money into the banking system after the crash as is humanly possible to do, but how long will that take to reinflate the system? It's probably going to take some time.
I'm reading different points of view on the deflationary effects of the crash on gold. Some are saying gold will fall when the crash occurs because the deflation will hit the gold price hard.
I still think my view could be correct, but there are some pretty sharp posters on this board I would like to chime in.
