A chic's? "Gerry" is a short form of "Gerard". Gerald Cavanaugh must be providing the declaration on behalf of Tmmi, as the sole remaining defendant on the counterclaim.

Gerry (aka Gerard, aka Mr.Cavanaugh), was at one point himself a defendant on the counterclaim (along with Mr. Alan 'Al' Sloan, Mr. Stanley 'Stan' Ford, Mr. Michael 'Mike' Kozole, Mr. Michael 'Mike' Fernandez, Mr. Thomas 'Tom' Simpson and Mr. Robin 'Rob' Haskins).

They were alleged to be liable for fraud, theft, civil conspiracy, etc. But those claims were all dismissed summarily. 8 of the counterclaims have been dismissed with prejudice, and 1 without prejudice. All the claims against the personal defendants have been dismissed.

I don't see how Gerard Cavanaugh can have much direct knowledge regarding the chain of title and negotiations around VDK, so I assume he is referencing documents.
