Such a crock, blame the system not the individuals.
Education has always been a big issue for me. What I've found is even in the bad areas of town (and if you ask soxfan he'll tell you that all schools in Texas are in the bad part of town), I've found all schools either have an AP or IB or both programs. Yes, the regular classes do tend to lack much of the teaching necessary for a top education, however, if the child applies themselves AND has the intelligence to get into the AP and IB programs, they get an education that is as good as any in the country. I've seen the ACT and SAT scores.
Ya know, not everyone NEEDS to go to college. I've met plenty of people who were geniuses on working on cars or building things that a college educated person wouldn't have a clue how to. This theory of Bernie Sanders that everyone should be able to go to college is also a crock.
