No, you're all wrong. My kids went to a public school and worked hard to get good grades. They weren't given free college "just because everyone should have the right to go to college".
I've seen many kids from poor schools excel. We go to high school football games from all over the area every week and I see how kids behave. There are good kids and bad kids everywhere. I've also seen plenty of kids from poor areas get scholarships to top Universities because they have earned them.
I have two kids. One earned a scholarship to a top University AND KEPT that scholarship which meant getting top grades. And my other child felt it more important to fight for his country.
Now, tell me again how my social status gave my kids an advantage.
