...i did but like most folks around here it was basically a failure. Harvested some but not much. We had the hottest summer on record and even though they havent said recently....probably the driest as well. Im guessing we have had MAYBE a 1/4 of our average rainfall this spring and summer. i only had to mow my yard maybe 8 times and that was just to knock the weed seed heads down. Now the produce people that raise many many acres about 15 miles up the road from me did well but they live on the river bottom and of course irrigate from the Nolichucky river. Wasnt much canning and freezing going on this year!
