Well, no one knows how much autonomous will be accepted by the marketplace. We can't really define the need precisely. As I quoted in a prior post the major auto companies don't expect to have a commercial product until 2021. And for me Uber has yet to justify its own economic viability. Arguably it has not done that yet. Will it survive the next 5 years? Maybe the potential of deploying autonomous in urban geography will do that for them -- but I don't think anyone can reasonably feel secure about that yet.

So we currently live in a world with all non-autonomous road vehicles, and the company believes it has a product in Cura myCadian that meets a big need now -- not a vaguely anticipated need that may or may not begin to be realized to some unknown degree 5 years from now. As I said before, I'll never willingly use a self-driving car, and it scares me that I may have to share the road with them in the future. I also doubt if business in general has even started their due diligence regarding whether autonomous could be a fit for them.
