you need a bit more understanding of rigorous scientific research and studies before you make a statement such as that. By now you already know how CTT/Calmare bungled years of studies by assuming that any old study that showed decreased pain was enough to impress the reviewers. You also, I believe, heard of the double-blind studies, etc.

Studies of a device that purports to reduce pain are only simplified by the fact that there is no need for worrying about side-effects that might occur with medications, but there is still the need for evidence that pain was reduced and then by a significant amount. It is not easy because each patient is a very unique case, unlike seeking to cure a disease that has similar symptoms in each instance. We already can see that Calmare has been focused on specific types of pain which implies it is not an end-all cure-all. Thus, not everyone with severe pain can run into a clinic and be relieved of his/her pain. Worse yet, the success relies on the technician using the device and their level of expertise as opposed to swallowing two Tylenols or anything much stronger.

Since you also need a placebo of some sort to evaluate the results you need patients with similar symptoms to use as the control group. how do you control that, as well? Crunching the numbers is not trivial given that any decent researcher needs to account for all this and also have a large enough cohort of patients to account for those who quit, those who have issues with the test length, those who may not qualify, etc.

If it was all as simple as you make it appear, why after so many years of studies in Virginia, Mayo, etc. have we not seen the results blasted across the airwaves, the device approved for insurance reimbursement, the device in constant and heavy use at every VA and general hospital, and the device flying off the shelf as fast as the Koreans can ship them to the US? I will not even bother with, the share price in the high teens or well-beyond?
