Interesting GE didn't mention Arcam...

In the statement GE issued about SLM saying they would not extend nor raise the bid, I guess they could have said something to the effect that they were not changing the bid on either company but they didn't... maybe I am trying too hard to read between the lines as they were addressing their comments to the SLM community... but still, when they extended Arcam they could have said that 285 was their best and final offer, but they didn't...

So perhaps there is still some glimmer of hope that GE would increase their bid...

If they fail in the offer than we will all have a chance to average down big time... with the 3Q being weak and the 4th Q probably just as weak, I expect if the GE bid fails we will find our selves down 50% or more from where we are today...

Will be interesting to say the least...
