Danica paints Martinsville Speedway's Curbs Pink: Danica Patrick joined Chevy Racing, the American Cancer Society and four breast cancer survivors Wednesday to Paint the Curbs Pink at Martinsville Speedway. The event is part of Team Chevy and the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. In addition to painting the iconic curbs, Chevy Racing will donate $350, up to $50,000, to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for every caution lap run during the Goody's Fast Relief 500 on October 30. Last year the race saw 109 caution laps. In addition to donating money for caution laps, Team Chevy will donate $5, up to $500,000, to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer every time the hashtag #IDriveFor is shared on Instagram or Twitter. The Goody's Fast Relief 500 Race Weekend is October 28-30.
The weekend starts on Friday with Virginia Lottery Pole Day and continues on Saturday with the Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is in action Sunday with the Goody's Fast Relief 500. Adult ticket prices for the Goody's Fast Relief 500 start at $45. Seats in the Bill France Tower are only $50.
