As I keep saying, the fly in the bug juice is scaling up to commercial production levels to complete the CMC for the IND submission. To me scale up seems to be a logrhythmic increase in difficulty in exponential increases in batch quantities. 100-200 gm, 300-500 gm, 800-1000 gm, 3kg-5kg. A lot like first learning to cook a 3 lb chicken for four, then a stuffed 18 lb turkey for 16, then 50 lb of ribs for 35, and finally a side of beef for 150. Only, it's a lot more difficult than ruining a few chickens, turkeys, ribs and half cows along the way for o perfection.

After all, no one has ever attempted and succeeded at scaling up to large kilogram batches of self-assembled, polymetric, amphophillic nanomicelles before. If you know anyone who has, please let us all know.

Is it Halloween yet?
