Ok ladies and gentlemen, it is in the hands of the jury. Closing arguments are complete and jury instructions given. They now have to decide on 3 things as I remember from the original complaint:

Tortious Interference - encouraging Redi Fze not to pay Playbev so Playbev could not pay Playboy or suppliers

Breach of Contract - working with Playbev distributors to circumvent Playbev

Promissory Estopel - Playboy executives promising to extend contract via emails but denied by new owners.


Preponderance evidence is what is necessary. Let's hope jury took good notes and believe in justice and FairPlay.

Jury will now deliberate until they get a verdict, I assume into the night and maybe hotel rooms. Not sure.

By the way Opening and Closing arguments are not evidence only the material, witnesses and testimonies are to be basis for decision.

If I learn of a decision via the docket I will let you know otherwise we may have to wait for a press release. I check every morning at 4:00am central time. If anybody heard anything from other sources like Bev Magazine or Wall Street Journal
