Negotiations are ongoing for possible collaborations with Wanda Group.

In May 2012, Wanda Group bought AMC Theaters for $2.6 billion. The Chinese conglomerate obtained the movie theater chain’s 5,048 screens from 347 theaters in Canada and in the United States.
