Greenshift Corporation (GERS)

I am not Canadian, but many people find it hard to find a brokerage that trades GERS because of the DTC "chill" that has been placed on GERS for many years; something to do with inaccurate information on the number of shares. Perhaps this has been lifted, but I think it may be a reason for the limited number of brokerages that will trade GERS. https://www.sec.gov/investor/alerts/dtcfreezes.pdf

I use Scottrade, there may be others. I noticed that Scottrade has no Canadian offices. However, I suspect that they have clients world-wide as they accept currencies other than the USD (e.g. Euro). Perhaps a call would clarify: https://www.scottrade.com/
