See this is the thing that is confusing about Cyclone:
They have never really had any success with any engine AT ALL. Not the MK1-5, not the S1 or S2 or any other named or unnamed engine. BUT they still continue to make engine iterations. One would think that they would use all their time and resources on a single engine concept. Perfect one engine prototype so that there is actually something to show and sell; even if it takes 5 years and $10M. At the end of that journey you have something that can make money and quiet all of your detractors. Or not and you close the doors and cut your losses.

However something else keeps happening. It is either Harry cannot stay focused on one thing for too long or even he has realized that the engines will never work. Expanding on the latter, I am coming to the conclusion that when the funding dries up on one engine project they come up with another engine project and raise fund for the new project. Then they use the funds from this new project to continue to fund the old project. This is not ideal but it is not the worst thing that you can do as a business person if you actually get the first project completed and sold off. However, what seems to happen is that the first engine project never gets completed and they need a new engine project to pay for the first and the second and the third. Then they need a 4th to pay for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and the cycle continues. This is why they have so many iterations of the Mk5, S1, S2, Mk3, Mk10, Mk1, WHE without a success on any of them. That is also why it looks like all of their engines look cobbled together with glue and duct tape. At this point, they have no more people to really dupe and 10+ engines that they need to build and show off to clients.

I think Cyclone has revolutionized the Ponzi scheme. The Schoell scheme if you will. I guess I am wondering how they have not been sued as yet....but then again maybe if you hide under the legal language of R&D you can get away with never having to deliver a product.
