I want to share something with y'all this morning to get you to thinking and because there might be at least a couple of people that need to hear this. Im not pointing my finger at anyone... thats not my job..... I simply want to open whoevers eyes that may read this and just didnt know. There are a lot of good decent people in this world...actually...millions of people that seem to do all the right things and think they are heaven bound when in fact they are going to split hell wide open! Please...dont let others fool you...dont fool yourself! Do you go to church every Sunday and read your Bible as often as you can?...so... you believe in God and Jesus? Do you even give as much as a 10% tithe in the offering plate? Do you have a good attitude about life and you are friendly to the people around you? Are you honest, trust worthy and loyal to not only friends and family but to everyone? Are you the type of person that would give the shirt off your back to help someone and you help people every chance you get and then some? Do you never talk about others and never gossip? You dont lie..cheat or steal. Foul language is never a part of you vocabulary. In the eyes of the world are you a good decent person that everyone admires for your "good works" and good lifestyle? NOW THE QUESTION....Have your ever talked to God and ask His forgiveness for your sin filled life and accepted Jesus into your heart and life as your Lord and Savior? Are you born-again into Gods family of believers? Folks..we can live a seemingly good and decent life doing all the seemingly good works and right things. However..if we have never accepted the free gift of salvation thru repentance of our sins...we are NOT going to heaven when we die. The only way to heaven is a personal relationship with Jesus...do you have that...i mean...do you really have that? Think about it!
