Yeah Hock, we had a couple of shakedown years, hadn't shaken out all the bugs before going live last year. Just in Time (JIT) delivery, as you noted is now our modus operandi. Cuts down on our joy juice excesses.

Cotton doesn't go bad either. Got some data posted on this board citing the extended length of time bales were sitting in warehouses.

Don't know nuthin about the real time processes in all this. Only recently have we been getting any visuals of some of the equipment being used. The open two-bay electrical cabinet contolling the application process at a gin isn't all that impressive to look at. Kind of scantily filled too.

I guess that's impressive:). Thinking the late breaking Wellspun bust is JIT in itself. I see it as cotton coming in to the gin getting FiberTyped® (grower fee?); then racked and stacked, then shopped over, purchased and marked (fabric mfgr fee). So, I just worked out PLENTY OF TIME.

IMHO, this works very well for us. Hard to be patient though. Shit, got no choice. ~17.5K volume is WHAT IT IS. No matter how much I BS. Kind of watching a biography on Nicolas Tesla.

He was about as crazy as a shithouse rat too.

Died broke too. Alright enough analogies.

Thanks for getting this far.
