I agree any buying won;t be enough to overcome selling without news that would make someone reconsider a sale. Would have to be sustained and/or substantial in size. I find it utterly ridiculous mgmt has not PR'd the engagement of an IB and the offering. That is material information and standard practice for any company. Some of the company's own investors might want to participate in the placement.
