Progressive Water Treatment Offers Fast and Mobile Water Purification to Areas Impacted by Hurricane Matthew

LOS ANGELES and DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- OriginClear Inc. (OTC/QB: OCLN), a leading provider of water treatment solutions, today announced that its subsidiary, Dallas-based Progressive Water Treatment, is offering mobile water purification trailers with support personnel for immediate delivery to users affected by Hurricane Matthew.

Over the weekend, the hurricane dumped up to 20 inches of heavy rain in coastal areas of Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, overloading existing sewage and water treatment facilities.

Progressive's immediate trailer-based unit capacities range from 60 to 225 gallons per minute (gpm), or up to 325,000 gallons per day. Higher capacities are available on fast notice. (Photo: the interior of a 100 gpm Progressive Water treatment trailer.)

"With deployments across the region, our mobile equipment has demonstrated its ability to return contaminated water to drinkable state, bringing much-needed relief to communities impacted by extreme weather events," said Marc Stevens, President of Progressive Water Treatment. "We are ready to move quickly into areas impacted by Hurricane Matthew, much as we did after Katrina."

"I'm proud of Progressive's proactive approach to address hurricane-polluted waters in the Southeast, and we will lend our expertise however we can to assist this effort," said Bill Charneski, President of the OriginClear Group.
