$TBEV Not All Sports Drinks Are The Same
While sports and energy drinks might sound the same, they are as different as night and day. Sports drinks are made specifically for use during workouts and for enhancing athletic performance. Energy drinks on the other hand have more sugar content and are known for their flavor rather than health benefits. However, both terms are used interchangeably by a number of people. In order to get to the bottom of this debate, let’s compare the sports drink High Performance Beverage Sports Drink with other ‘performance enhancing’ drinks.
High Performance Beverage Sports Drink vs. Gatorade
A sports drink is known for providing a range of benefits for athletes that can help them last long on the field or during workouts. Sugar is not one of them. Gatorade is a popular energy drink but it contains high sucralose which is an artificial sweetener that enhances flavor and sweetness. However, what most people don’t know is that it contains more sugar than actual sugar. The drink also has a high fructose corn syrup content which only adds more sugar which can drain energy reserves fast. While the sugar can provide a brief energy boost, it will drain your reserves far more quickly.
High Performance Beverage Sports Drink on the other hand has absolutely no sugar content which makes it a sports drink rather than an energy drink. That is why it is known popularly as a high performance beverage rather than just an energy drink. It provides sustainable energy which can keep an athlete performing for hours. In fact, if you want all of its benefits from another source such as Gatorade you will have to take at least 3 different products to make up the deficit.
High Performance Beverage Sports Drink vs. Powerade
Like Gatorade, Powerade also has an ingredient that is not conducive to sustainable athletic performance. That ingredient is called Sacharin which is also an artificial sweetener which besides reducing recovery periods and causing breathing difficulties can also result in diarrhea if it is taken for too long. Both results can be catastrophic to an endurance athlete who has to cover long distances at a walk or at a run.
Since High Performance Beverage Sports Drinks do not contain any sugar whatsoever and is extremely low in caffeine, it promotes rapid healing of tissue. This is good for rapid recovery and reduces lactic acid buildup, both which are important for athletes. It also contains green tea extract which increases metabolic rate and energy levels in place of sugar.
High Performance Beverage Sports Drink vs. Body Armor
Body Armor has as much sugar as the aforementioned drinks, which makes it more an energy drink. Even though it does not have BVO (which is a flame retardant chemical) which is present in Gatorade and Powerade, each bottle of Body Armor has enough sugar which makes it sweet and harmful at the same time. How much sugar? About 4 teaspoons per bottle and since each bottle has 2 servings that amount to 8 teaspoons or 35 grams.
High Performance Beverage Sports Drinks has 0gm of sugar which allows it to increase blood flow and increase focus.
For sustainable performance that can last for hours, High Performance Beverage Sports Drinks are better compared to other brands in the market. It is the only genuine sports drink which offers all of the benefits that an athlete needs to remain alert and energized. The brand belongs to a public company trading under the symbols TBEV.
