This site allows the mention/discussion of other companies/stocks on stock specific boards provided a relationship between the two companies is being described and/or exists. For example, discussion of companies with officers in common is on topic for either board. Also, price/chart comparisons are valid. And industry competitors can be discussed.

The key is that a valid relationship has to exist and the poster has to describe that relationship or develop a previously established relationship.

The problem related to spam or off topic deletion issues arises when a poster simply posts about another company on a given stock specific board when no such relationship is described and/or no valid comparison is established.
