AIX.v Alix Appoints Ecclestone as CEO and Weslosky to the Board


Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire) - ALIX RESOURCES CORP. (“Alix” or the “Company”) (AIX-TSX:V) (37N–FRANKFURT) is pleased to announce the appointments of Mr. Christopher Ecclestone to its Board and as its new Chief Executive Officer and Ms. Tracy Weslosky to its Board.

Mr. Ecclestone is a mining strategist and principal at Hallgarten & Company in London as well as senior European editor at InvestorIntel out of Toronto. He is known for his coverage of specialty metals situations and commentary upon the mining sector.

Prior to founding Hallgarten & Company in New York in 2003, he was the head of research at an economic think tank in New Jersey which he joined in 2001. Before moving to the United States, he was the founder and head of research at the esteemed Argentine equity research firm, Buenos Aires Trust Company, from 1991 until 2001. He worked in London from 1985 to 1991 as a corporate finance and equities analyst and as a freelance consultant on the restructuring of the securities industry. He is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
